The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport gives Richmond drivers two turbocharged EcoBoost engine choices. The Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Heritage trims come with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 181 horsepower. For those who want more strength, the Badlands trim steps up with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower. Every trim includes an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive (4WD) as standard equipment.
One standout feature is the Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes. This system lets Casco drivers switch between different settings based on road conditions. Most trims offer five modes: normal, ECO, sport, slippery, and off-road. The Badlands trim adds two more modes, rock crawl and rally, giving you seven total options. The Badlands also includes paddle shifters, an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential, and a driver-selectable rear locking differential for greater traction control.
Standard safety and control features include 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, Brake Assist, and Hill Hold Control. The Badlands adds Hill Descent Control for steep trails.
